This basement finish project transformed an unfinished space into a fully functional sewing studio and living area. The project required engineered plans and permits due to the removal of a load-bearing wall. Construction included structural modifications, framing, mechanical updates, and interior finishes, all completed with a focus on safety, functionality, and long-term durability. All inspections passed successfully, and the city inspector specifically noted that the beam installation exceeded typical standards.
